A South Dakota destination resort

Before our resort was built in 1995, we knew we needed a location that would allow families, couples, and groups to get away for a relaxing, fun retreat. That’s why we chose to build at the intersection of the Missouri River and I-90 near Chamberlain in Oacoma.

The name Cedar Shore reflects the natural setting along the river. In 2016, we changed our name to Arrowwood Cedar Shore to extend the Arrowwood property presence from Minnesota to South Dakota.

Over the years, we’ve remodeled our lodges and rooms, and added new camping sites, two new cottages, and additional boat slips. We’re also a popular site for statewide meetings with our construction of a new 12,000-square-foot convention center in 2004. Both guests and locals enjoy our on-site restaurants, boat rentals, fishing, and hunting, too.

We are also proud to announce that we have award-winning customer service after receiving the George S. Mickelson Great Service Award from Governor Mike Rounds in 2005.

We’re managed by Regency Hotel Management in Sioux Falls, and welcome leisure travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and convention goers to enjoy our casual atmosphere and exemplary service.
